Pete's double life was that of a rocker and drummer. In his spare time he regularly played in numerous rock, blues, rock and roll and jazz bands. He loved music and was a fantastic drummer and showman. His biggest claim to fame was playing drums for the successful singer Joe Jackson, even though it was some time before he hit the big time. Pete also played drums for Shep Woolley, in Navy circles a legendary comedian, singer and ex-matelot. Pete was very proud that he got his name on one of Shep's LP sleeves.
