I was in the ship's group with Pete. He was an absolute nutcase! Always had us in stitches while we were playing, but it was a bugger of a job to get him to rehearse! Many great times playing together from wardroom cocktail parties to some dubious bars in the West Indies. Very sad to hear that he has passed away. Would normally offer the words R.I.P. but knowing Pete he is probably pulling a prank on someone, somewhere if there is an afterlife! Rob (Bob) Burridge
